Kawhi Leonard isn't going to stop rising until he's on the top.
The San Antonio Spurs small forward broke out in a big way throughout the 2013 playoffs, emerging as a potential star when he went head-to-head with LeBron James in the NBA Finals, and now he's reaping the benefits, per Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News:
In fact, the Brand Jordan family is such a special club that, according to Spurs Nation's Mike Monroe, Leonard and the new rookie members (Victor Oladipo, Otto Porter and Cody Zeller) are joining a group that features eight NBA All-Stars, led by Chris Paul.
Monroe also reveals another reason that this is such a special move for Leonard: He's an Air Jordan aficionado.
Not only has he been wearing the shoes ever since he left San Diego State and joined the ranks of the Association, but he also has a collection of the premier Nike sneakers in his closet.
