A serious vision came about watching Chris Paul fall to the floor in pain.
He will not be a New Orleans Hornet after this season.
The writings have been smeared on the wall since Tyson Chandler was traded. Chandler was clearly Paul's favorite target. Why would the Hornets make their franchise player have to adjust to a player in Emeka Okafor that hasn't quite lived up to 'Howard or Okafor" draft rumblings.
The word had been leaked that the New Orleans Hornets are in a financial stranglehold. The only coach that Paul has ever had in the NBA, Byron Scott, has been fired.
The Hornets are 3-7, and they used a bad start and a first round exit to the supremely talented Denver Nuggets as an excuse to give Scott the exit door. Truth is they couldn't afford a man that won Coach of the Year two years ago and has done an excellent job in molding Paul.
If the Hornets are in such dire need of cap space, how can they possibly put a team around Paul that is championship bound? Simple answer; THEY CAN'T.
