The Indiana Pacers have put small forward Solomon Hill on the trade block, according to ESPN.com's Marc Stein.

New Orleans Possible Landing Spot for Hill Friday, Dec. 4 Candace Buckner of the Indianapolis Star confirmed Stein's report, noting the New Orleans Pelicans have shown interest in Hill.

New Orleans makes sense as a destination for Hill, considering the Pelicans are lacking in the small forward department and have a plethora of guards, including six who play at least 16 minutes per game.

With Jrue Holiday and the emerging Ish Smith playing well at the point for the Pelicans, Norris Cole could be part of a trade involving Hill.

Hill, in his third year, has seen limited action this season, playing in just seven games, averaging 1.6 points per contest and reportedly falling out of favor with the Pacers, per Stein.

He's coming off a 2014-15 season in which he started 78 of 82 games while scoring 8.9 points and grabbing 3.8 rebounds per contest in the absence of two-time All-Star Paul George.
