Brooks Interested in Potential L.A. Gig

According to Basketball Insiders' Eric Pincus, Brooks "has interest in a position with the Lakers should it become available."
However, Brooks will undoubtedly have other suitors.
According to The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Washington Wizards—who recently fired Randy Wittman—have circled Brooks as a primary replacement target.
Citing NBA sources, Wojnarowski noted, "There had been some movement within the Wizards to pursue Brooks during the regular season, but the Wizards are expected to be aggressive in the marketplace with Brooks."
From a statistical standpoint, Brooks would represent a nice upgrade over Scott. The 2010 Coach of the Year posted a .620 winning percentage during his time with the Thunder, including a run to the 2011 NBA Finals.
