San Antonio Spurs vs. Minnesota Timberwolves: Spurs Go For Season Sweep

The Minnesota Timberwolves will try and avoid being swept by the San Antonio Spurs when the two teams face off at the Target Center Tuesday night.

San Antonio has won the first three games of the series, but it hasn't been easy. The Spurs have won by an average of just five points, and needed overtime the last time they came to Minnesota. These two teams just faced off in San Antonio on Sunday, with the Spurs barely holding on for a 94-91 win. 

Taking a look at the NBA spreads for tonight's games, the oddsmakers have the Spurs favored by 6.5 points over the Timberwolves.

Minnesota blew big leads late in both of their first two games against the Spurs, but they nearly repaid the favor on Sunday. Minnesota trailed by seven going into the fourth quarter and had two chances late to try and force overtime, but just couldn't make the big shot when they needed to.

Kevin Love had 18 points and 17 rebounds in a losing effort, and Luke Ridnour added 16 points, seven assists and six rebounds. Minnesota however got just two points from Michael Beasley, who hurt his already sprained left ankle and was forced to leave in the second ...
