San Antonio Spurs vs. Chicago Bulls: Live Score, Highlights and Reaction

The Chicago Bulls led wire to wire and held on to win 95-91 against the San Antonio Spurs at home Thursday night. Chicago moved to 12-10 on the season, and the Spurs are now 18-5.

In the first half, the Bulls defended very well and San Antonio helped Chicago's cause by settling for jump shots, which were not falling. The Spurs had just 32 points before the intermission and shot a mere 30.6 percent from the field in that time frame.

San Antonio gradually crept back into the game in the third and fourth quarters, but there was just too much Dwyane Wade (20 points, five rebounds and five assists) and Rajon Rondo (12 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists) for the Spurs to pull it out. Kawhi Leonard did pump in 24 points, eight rebounds and five assists in the losing effort, also doing a good job defending Jimmy Butler (13 points and three turnovers on 4-of-14 shooting).

The Bulls will look to continue building momentum against the Miami Heat on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Spurs will host the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday.
