The Sacramento Kings defeated the New York Knicks in a thriller on Thursday night in Sacramento, California.

Rajon Rondo reminded us again why he’s a four-time all-star, and DeMarcus Cousins played like an All-NBA First Team center for the Kings. Rondo ended the game one rebound shy of another triple-double, and Cousins contributed with 27 points and 11 rebounds.

The Knicks trailed by as many as 19 points in the third quarter, but thanks in part to Carmelo Anthony they were able to make it a one possession game late in the game. Anthony finished the game with 23 points and 14 rebounds to lead all Knicks players.

Next up for the Kings (9-15) is a rematch against the Houston Rockets on December 15. The Rockets beat the Kings 120-113 on Saturday, December 5 off spectacular performances from James Harden and Dwight Howard. The Kings will look to even up the season series 1-1 next Tuesday.
