After a close first quarter, the New York Knicks thoroughly dominated the Sacramento Kings and ended up winning 120-81.

The Knicks were helped by a dominant second quarter in which they pleased the home crowd by outscoring their opponent 31-11. 

They were impressive in every phase of the game, despite getting only nine points and three rebounds out of Carmelo Anthony.

Instead, they got some impressive performances from the frontcourt. Tyson Chandler had 20 rebounds, while Amar'e Stoudemire finished with 21 points on 10-of-10 shooting.

DeMarcus Cousins had a big day for the Kings with 25 points and nine rebounds, but he got little help as his team fell apart early.

Player of the Game: J.R. Smith

J.R. Smith has been a spark off the bench all season for the Knicks, but he had one of his best performances of the year on Saturday.

The guard made seven of his 14 shots from behind the arc and led the team with 25 points. He also added six rebounds, four assists and two steals.
