Well, the Miami Heat didn't see this one coming.
It took two overtimes for LeBron James and company to put the Sacramento Kings away, but eventually, they did just that.
Two monstrous performances from LeBron and Dwyane Wade propelled the Heat to a victory that actually looked out of reach at times.
Miami's defense was matador-like through the first overtime, but it really buckled down in the second, outscoring Sacramento 17-5 and traipsing its way to victory.
This marked the team's 12th straight victory and its 10th consecutive at home. It also saw LeBron make history again.
Per Elias Sports, James is the first player in NBA history to shoot 64 percent from the floor for an entire month (minimum 200 attempts) since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in March of 1983.
Historical precedence aside, this wasn't always easy to look at, yet the Heat's resilience here was admirable, championship worthy even.
As was the individual performances put forth by most of their players.
