Sacramento Kings Hold Baby Race on Court at Game, with Stunning Ending

Not only did fans at Sleep Train Arena on Sunday get to see a good game between the Toronto Raptors and the Sacramento Kings, but they were also treated to a baby race.

The rules of the race were simple: The first baby to crawl from one parent to the other was the winner, with the parent at the finish line doing what he or she could to get their baby to come to them the fastest.

As this race shows, it's not about how you start—it's how you finish.

This race had it all. If you only watched the first 30 seconds and stopped because you thought it was over, keep watching. The front-runner decided to take a break near the finish line to let the field catch up to her. Meanwhile, one of the other leading babies apparently got rattled and folded under the pressure (at the 37-second mark).

All of that allowed one baby to come out of nowhere to swoop in and steal the victory—and the prize.
