Russell Westbrook’s Dancing Sparks Reaction from Charlie Villanueva

Dallas Mavericks forward Charlie Villanueva wasn't amused with the pregame dance routine between Oklahoma City Thunder point guards Russell Westbrook and Cameron Payne before Game 2 of the teams' first-round playoff series. 

Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com passed along comments the 31-year-old veteran made Tuesday about the situation in a Fox Sports PROcast video.

"If you want to go dancing and stuff like that, go to a nightclub," Villanueva said. "Go to a club and dance. Go to 'Dancing With the Stars' and be a dancer. You want to battle and dance, we can battle, but not in a basketball game. Plus, they were in my way, too, so I wasn't necessarily interrupting their dance."

After the game, an 85-84 Mavericks victory to level the series at one game apiece, Westbrook responded to Villanueva interrupting the routine, per Brett Smiley of Fox Sports.

"That's for the guys who don't play," Westbrook said. "Gotta do something."
