As Russell Westbrook prepares for his first season as the face of the Oklahoma City Thunder, the All-Star point guard is still answering questions about former teammate Kevin Durant.
Surrounded by media Thursday, Westbrook offered a response to Durant's comments about how the Golden State Warriors are "selfless."
"That's cute," Westbrook said, per ESPN.com's Royce Young. "Cute."
On Monday, Durant went into detail about the process that led to his signing with the Warriors as a free agent over the summer, per Anthony Slater of the San Jose Mercury News:
You hear family a lot. That's just a word sometimes, but this is really a lifestyle here. You can feel it when you walk in the door, in the practice facility, everybody is just together. That's something that I can appreciate as a basketball player and someone who values relationships. You can tell that that's what they stand on, that's what we stand on.
