Russell Westbrook is in the holiday spirit.

The Oklahoma City Thunder star helped make one fan's wish come true with a surprise visit to the Children's Center Rehabilitation Hospital in Bethany, Oklahoma, on Monday.

The fan, 13-year-old Janneh, is a patient at the hospital. The surprise was orchestrated by his teacher, KOCO 5 News and a local community outreach organization.

According to a Reddit thread, Westbrook showed up to the hospital "unannounced":

Yesterday afternoon Russ shows up to the hospital, unannounced, by himself, no Thunder Ministry of Propaganda, no twitter photo ops. Just Russ and his big heart for kids. He hung out for about 30 minutes, chatting up Janneh and just being awesome.

Janneh suffered a gunshot wound to the neck from a bullet that was not intended for him a week before his 13th birthday, damaging his vertebrae and leaving him paralyzed from the neck down. You can find out more about his story and how to help here.
