Rumor Central: Houston Rockets Making Moves for Bosh?

This summer's high-caliber NBA free agency has brought every media outlet to its knees, begging for the next "insightful piece of information."

Most of this insight is hearsay, speculation, and dramatics. 

That being said, a new rumor has been surfacing during the last couple of days regarding the Houston Rockets' pursuit of a top free agent. 

That free agent, of course, is Chris Bosh...and maybe Amar'e Stoudemire, too. 

According to Yahoo! Sports, the Houston Rockets are offering up Shane Battier, Luis Scola, and Trevor Ariza to work a sign-and-trade deal for either Bosh or Stoudemire. 

The chances of the rumors being true are probably slim to none. The deal would put the Rockets in a position of requiring a new winger. With the payroll already very high, they would probably have to settle for a below-average player. 

So say it is true. Okay, the Rockets have to find some defensive presence on the wing. But the offense would be ridiculous: Bosh, Kevin Martin, Yao Ming, Aaron Brooks, and Chase Budinger.

Rick Adelman is an offensive coach, after all.
