Kings Reportedly Exploring Trade Scenarios for Gay Tuesday, June 23 Even though Gay enjoyed a career year with the Kings in 2014-15 with 21.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game, his future in Sacramento is quite uncertain.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, new head coach George Karl wants superstar center DeMarcus Cousins out of town, but it is more likely that the Kings will deal Gay instead.

One trade possibility would involve Gay being shipped to the Denver Nuggets in exchange for point guard Ty Lawson, per ESPN.com's Chris Broussard.



The rumblings come as somewhat of a surprise since Gay recently revealed that he and Karl have discussed how he might be utilized during the 2015-16 campaign, according to an interview on SiriusXM NBA Radio (via NBA.com's Jason Wise): "I'm trying to learn him as much as possible. He's talked to me about playing more at the four."< ...
