Roy Hibbert Injury: Updates on Lakers Star’s Ankle and Return

Los Angeles Lakers center Roy Hibbert suffered a left ankle sprain Saturday night against the San Antonio Spurs and did not return. It is uncertain when he will be able to return to action.

Latest on Hibbert's Playing Status Sunday, Feb. 7 Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News reported Hibbert is listed as questionable to play against the Indiana Pacers on Monday.

Hibbert's Absence Could Mean Increased Role for Randle

This offseason the Indiana Pacers traded Hibbert, 29, to the Lakers in exchange for a second-round pick. The two-time All-Star averaged 10.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in 25.3 minutes per game last season. The Pacers disappointed on the whole, finishing 38-44 and missing the postseason, and Hibbert's departure was hardly surprising. 

Hibbert entered Saturday averaging 6.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.6 blocks this season.
