Christmas Day is normally a time where people set aside their differences and just enjoy each other's company. In the Lakers-Heat matchup that took place earlier today, that was certainly not the case.
With under 15 seconds left in the second quarter, LeBron drove into the paint to attack the basket and passed the ball out to Chris Bosh. While he did so, Ron Artest came over and put LeBron in a headlock.
James went to throw a punch at Artest to push him off, but the matter was quickly broken up.
Both were called for technical fouls, in the most physical match-up of what was already a very physical game between these two teams.
It remains to be seen whether any further action will be levied by NBA Commissioner David Stern, but needless to say, this incident sent the web abuzz, with both players trending on Twitter afterwards.
As for the actual game that took place, LeBron ended the game with a triple-double en route to a 96-80 Heat victory.
