Rockets vs. Cavaliers Start Time Moved Due to 2016 World Series Game 6

The start of Tuesday's game between the Houston Rockets and Cleveland Cavaliers has been moved to 6 p.m. ET to accommodate fans who want to watch Game 6 of the World Series. 

"CLE, we fought hard to move @cavs tip to 6pm. tomorrow so you wouldn't be torn. @cavs game should end by 2nd inning. Can't wait, @Indians!" Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert wrote in a tweet Monday.

The game was originally scheduled for a 7:10 p.m. tipoff. The Cleveland Indians can clinch their first World Series since 1948 with a win over the Chicago Cubs. Their game is scheduled to begin at Progressive Field at 8 p.m.

This is the second time the Cavaliers have pushed up their start time to accommodate the Indians. Cleveland's opening-night ring ceremony coincided with Game 1 of the World Series. The NBA moved up festivities by a half-hour so fans could watch the ceremony and opening tip while also catching Cleveland in the World Series.
