Robin Lopez Ejected vs. Clippers After Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan Altercation

New York Knicks center Robin Lopez was ejected in the third quarter of Friday night's game against the Los Angeles Clippers after he appeared to take a swing at the head of Chris Paul following a failed rebound attempt. 



According to the Orange County Register's Dan Woike, Lopez was assessed two technical fouls, while Paul and Clippers center DeAndre Jordan were given one technical foul each for their involvement in the altercation.

If Lopez's actions were borne out of frustration, it's not hard to see why. 

The Knicks were gashed early and often by Jordan's putback attempts and dives to the rim, and New York's center stood no chance of taming the Clippers' high-flying antics, as Bleacher Report documented on Twitter:



"Things were getting pretty chippy out there," Lopez said, per the New York Times' Seth Berkman. "It happened so fast, kind of hard to recall. Maybe I overreacted a little bit, but what happened, happened. I'm OK with it."
