Ray McCallum, Alex Stepheson to Grizzlies: Latest Contract Details, Reaction

The Memphis Grizzlies announced they have signed guard Ray McCallum and forward Alex Stepheson to 10-day contracts on Saturday in agreement with the NBA's hardship rule.

Ronald Tillery of the Commercial Appeal initially reported the deals.

Per Tillery, McCallum will be in uniform for Saturday night's game against the Atlanta Hawks, but it is unclear whether Stepheson will join the team in time.   

McCallum has been in the league for three years, most recently with the San Antonio Spurs in 2015-16, during which he appeared in 31 games as a reserve. He averaged just 8.3 minutes per game and put up just over two points per game. 

The Spurs waived him toward the end of February to make room for the newly acquired Andre Miller.
