Raptors Report Week 5: Toronto Takes Huge Blow, Loses Reggie Evans

The Raptors had a tragic event occur this week. They lost their only legitimate rebounding and inside force, Reggie Evans.

They didn't fare too well this week, dropping two out of three games.

The first game of the week they faced the 76ers and blew them right out of the building.

The next game, the Raptors dropped a game on the road to the Celtics, which would have been expected, but the team put up a fight and forced the Celtics to play their starters for the majority of the game.

The final game of the week, the Raptors got blown out by the Atlanta Hawks, and Jay Triano was not happy with the team's effort.

Record: 1-2

Performance on a scale of 1-10: 6

 

Positives

Jerryd Bayless has shown that he can be a solid point guard for now and the future, and Peja Stojakovic showed us that he can still shoot the ball very well. 

The Raptors have shown their ability to beat the weaker teams in the league, and they have had a tough schedule so far so look for them to improve.
