Raptors Report Week 17: Bosh-Less Raptors Get Embarassed

It's been a long week for Jay Triano. Watching his team get dominated without his star player surely has been painful to watch for me, so I can't imagine Jay's pain.

I guess this show's how valuable Bosh really is to the Raptors, who got outplayed by some of the top teams in the league this week.

The Trail Blazers game wasn't really close. They had the lead practically the whole time, and without Bosh, their offense couldn't find a rhythm and couldn't pull it together.

Against the NBA's top team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Raptors were much closer, and played very well as a team, but fell in overtime. Down the stretch, LeBron James was just too much to handle and the Raptors just couldn't keep up in the extra period.

The game on the road against the Thunder was just brutal. They weren't even in it for a bit. Without Chris Bosh, their offense didn't even reach 70 points by the 4th quarter. And let me tell you, this team isn't going to win games from stellar defense.
