The Toronto Raptors had an interesting box score in Thursday's 96-92 win over the Miami Heat in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals, becoming the first team since the 2006-07 Golden State Warriors to have four players with three or more steals in a single playoff game, per Sportsnet Stats.
Forward DeMarre Carroll led the way with four, followed by guards Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan and center Jonas Valanciunas—each of whom recorded three.
The only starter to fall short of three steals was guard Norman Powell, who still contributed one despite playing just nine minutes.
Given that no team has accomplished the feat since 2007, it should come as no surprise that Thursday's game marked the first time in Raptors history four players recorded three or more steals in the same playoff contest, per Sportsnet Stats.
The Raptors also had 15 steals as a team, setting a new single-game franchise record for the playoffs, per Basketball-Reference.com's play index.
