Raptors Fan Flies 6,860 Miles from Japan to Toronto Only to See Team Lose

Imagine working hard enough to be able to afford a ticket to fly across an ocean just to go watch your favorite team in action. One Toronto Raptors fan did exactly that recently, making the trip from Japan to watch the Raptors host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night.

Unfortunately for the fan, it was a tough night for the home team.

Toronto entered the game 28-8 at the Air Canada Centre on the season. However, the Raptors were unable to contain Thunder star Russell Westbrook (26 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds), who posted his 16th triple-double of the season in Oklahoma City's 119-100 victory.

All the Raptors could do was say "I'm sorry" to the fan who flew halfway around the world to watch his favorite team lose. But hey, just going to the game (and seeing a special performance by Westbrook) had to be a night to remember.
