Raptors C Amir Johnson Buys Two Stores’ Copies of Drake’s ‘Nothing Was the Same’

Toronto native Drake's highly anticipated album Nothing Was the Same was released Tuesday, and the residents of Toronto flooded stores to pick up their copy. If they went to Future Shop or HMV, they would have found that every single copy had been bought.

Toronto Raptors center Amir Johnson was the person that purchased every copy from the two stores, and while many fans may have been frustrated initially, Johnson totally redeemed himself by giving out the copies for free to fans.

Nicely done, Amir.

Hat tip to USA Today's FTW for the find.
