Throughout the preseason, Celtics fans caught a glimpse of Rajon Rondo's importance to the 2010-11 Celtics.

Through three regular season games, it clear that Rondo is EVERYTHING to the Celtics, making him the most valuable player to any team.

Last night against the New York Knicks, Rondo earned a spectacular triple-double, totaling 10 points, 10 rebounds and 24 assists! 

His 24 assists are the second-most ever in a single game for a Celtics player, and he tied Isiah Thomas for the most assists ever in a triple-double performance.

Rondo's assists were well-spread. The only player to score for the Celtics last night that did not benefit from a Rondo assist was Nate Robinson. 

"[Rondo] pretty much got everyone involved," said Pierce, who scored 25 points with 14 rebounds. "He got the popcorn man involved. He got the announcers involved. Everybody. It was beautiful to watch."

Rondo is no stranger to triple-doubles. He had several in the 2009 and 2010 playoffs, and is quickly becoming unguardable.
