Railing Collapses as Fans Swarm to Stephen Curry for Autograph Before Game

Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is hounded by fans with autograph requests at every arena he visits.

Fans can oftentimes feel overwhelmed with excitement, and not even a metal barrier can hold back the admiration. 

Before the Warriors took on the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night, Curry stopped at the stands in the tunnel to sign some items for fans. Then, in the middle of his autograph session, the railing on the side of the stands collapsed, sending a handful of fans to the ground. 

Fortunately, the situation did not appear to lead to any serious injuries. Kareem Copeland of the Associated Press reported that one fan sought first aid under his own power, and three others were treated and able to return to their seats. 

While everyone appears to have walked away fine, the reigning NBA MVP understood that it could have been worse.
