Quincy Pondexter, Hornets SF, Praying Jake Locker Wins the Heisman

It's only been a few months since NBA rookie, New Orleans Hornets small forward, Quincy Pondexter played a mean game of hoops at the University of Washington.

With a promising NBA career ahead of him, his progression in the league is almost certain.
However, this rookie NBA'er stills wears a husky heart on his sleeve. The Washington alum remains true to his school, and is all smiles when chatting up his alma mater.
We caught up with Pondexter at the at the Power Balance Goes All-In For A Cure event at Drai's Hollywood Tuesday, and he expressed an undying love for the Husky grid iron, telling us, "I'm looking forward to the start of football season."
The Pro-NBA baller, whose mind shifted to another sport, has been lobbying for good friend and Washington quarterback Jake Locker to win the Heisman this year. Locker is considered by many as the front runner for the coveted trophy.
Pondexter tells Glam Girls, "I'm friends with Jake. He's got a lot of pressure on him. I don't know if he's going to win the Heisman, but he's up there. He's a tremendous player. There's a lot of great teams out there, and great players. I'm pra ...
