Portland Trail Blazers Should Use Depth To Add Star PG

CBSSports.com recently reported that Chris Paul is not happy with his situation in New Orleans and wants to be traded before the regular season starts.

The Portland Trail Blazers are a team that could use an upgrade at the PG spot to become legit contenders.

They also have a lot of trade assets and expiring contracts that they can use to get a star point guard like Chris Paul or Devin Harris.

Both of these players will be an upgrade to Andre Miller because even though Miller's experience helps, the fact that he can't hit the three consistently really makes it tough for him to play with Brandon Roy.

Since Chris Paul is reportedly very open to getting traded to a winner, the Trail Blazers might be one of the best situations for him to land in.

They have a young roster with a top-10 player in the league. Brandon Roy is certainly a top-10 talent in this league and LaMarcus Aldridge would be a very good third option on a championship team.

They also have a couple of lockdown defenders in Nicholas Batum and the recently acquired Wesley Matthews.
