So, what is the next move for the Blazers?

The Jazz informed Wesley Matthews that they will not match the Blazers 5 year/$32.7 million offer sheet.

What this means for the Blazers is that they are days away from having 6 guards on the roster: starters Brandon Roy and Andre Miller, reserves Rudy Fernandez and Jerryd Bayless, 2010 first round draft pick Elliot Williams and Matthews.  Including at least one of reserve Patty Mills or 2010 second round draft pick Armon Johnson, which by all accounts is a near certainty, that means 7 guards.

Fernandez has almost certainly played his way out of the Blazers future, after an injury-riddled, lackluster regular season followed by a disappearing act in the playoffs.

The failed Bayless experiment at point guard appears to be finished.

Though the Blazers technically have an overabundance of guards on their roster, the reality is that behind starters Roy and Miller, there appears to be only one certain opening night reserve, the soon-to-be signed Matthews.

So, again, what's next for the Blazers?
