Most Valuable Player

Andre Miller

This is probably the hardest category to choose for this year's Portland Trail Blazers. There are plenty of deserving candidates on the roster.

Brandon Roy led the team in scoring and was selected once again as an All-Star.

Nicolas Batum was vital to Portland's second half push towards the playoffs.

Juwan Howard was a priceless player that filled in for the injury-depleted Blazers.

Lamarcus Aldridge emerged as a "go to" player for Portland.

However, I think this award has got to go to Andre Miller. Miller led the Blazers to a winning record even with difficulties transitioning to Porland's style of play at the beginning of the season.

Miller had an MVP highlight game when he scored 52 points in an overtime win against the Dallas Mavericks.

Andre Miller was also one of two Blazers to play in all 82 games.

The most important thing Miller brought to the Blazers was evident when he took control of all facets of the game during the extended stretch Brandon Roy missed with injury.
