Markieff Morris scored a career-high 26 points, Isaiah Thomas added 19 off the bench and the Phoenix Suns defeated the Milwaukee Bucks, 102-96, at the BMO Harris Bradley Center Tuesday night.

The Suns got off to an awful start, making only one three-pointer and turning the ball over 12 times in the first half. The Bucks took a 44-43 lead into halftime and led 72-71 heading into the fourth quarter.

However, Morris and company made countless big plays down the stretch, including a huge triple from Morris to put Phoenix up by seven with under a minute to go.

Milwaukee briefly led by 10 early in the second period, but poor outside shooting and miscues ultimately doomed the young ballclub.

The Bucks went only 3-of-20 from three-point range and committed 17 turnovers.

The Suns were actually worse in terms of ball control, giving up the rock 20 times, but they hit seven treys, which ended up being the difference in the game.

Phoenix has now won nine of its last 11 contests and is 16-2 over its last 18 games against Eastern Conference opponents dating back to last year.
