Thanks to a balanced attack in which five players scored at least 13 points, the Houston Rockets defeated the Phoenix Suns, 100-95, Saturday at the Toyota Center.

The Rockets led by 22 at one point, but the Suns' high-powered offense battled back before Patrick Beverley took over down the stretch. He scored 19 points, shot 5-of-8 from downtown and played his trademark physical defense on Goran Dragic.

Trevor Ariza also scored 19, but shot just 5-of-15 from the field. He was joined in his shooting struggles by James Harden, who scored 15 points on 5-of-21 shooting, but largely made up for it by grabbing 12 rebounds and dishing out seven assists.

Donatas Motiejunas also had a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Jason Terry scored 13 points and hit 3-of-3 from downtown.

The Suns were led by Eric Bledsoe, who scored 23 points on 7-of-17 shooting. Dragic chipped in with 13 points on 5-of-14 shooting. The typically dynamic duo was stymied all night by the aggressive defense of the Rockets.
