The Golden State Warriors pulled away from the Phoenix Suns late Sunday night behind an offensive barrage from their three top scorers, winning 133-120. Golden State moved to 8-2 on the season, and Phoenix is now 3-7.

The Suns played one of their best games of the season until the final six minutes of the contest. They had an extremely balanced scoring attack that included six double-figure scorers, led by 20 points apiece from T.J. Warren and Eric Bledsoe.

However, it was a 27-9 game-closing run for the Warriors that was the difference. Stephen Curry (30 points) struck early, Klay Thompson (30 points) came alive late and Kevin Durant (29 points) contributed plenty of scoring punch throughout the contest. Draymond Green was his versatile self, contributing 14 points, seven rebounds, 11 assists, three steals and two blocks.

Playing with consistent defensive effort continues to be an issue for the Warriors, though. There's no excuse for the Warriors letting the below-average Suns, playing their second night of a back-to-back, stay as close as they did at Oracle Arena.
