The Philadelphia 76ers have just came off another victory over the Orlando Magic.

The 76ers broke their eight-game losing streak to the Magic and have put themselves a half game out of playoff contention.

Many Sixers players have stepped up recently and established roles as an everyday starter or reliable player, including Elton Brand, Jodie Meeks, Lou Williams and of course Andre Iguodala.

They may not have been able to stop All-Star center Dwight Howard, who had 26 points and 20 rebounds, but they did walk away with a win and that's what mattered.

The main story heading into the game was the major trades that the Magic took place in today. In the two separate trades they gave up Vince Carter, Rashard Lewis and Marcin Gortat. They ended up receiving Gilbert Arenas, Hedo Turkoglu, Jason Richardson and Earl Clark.

The players acquired in the trade were not eligible to play in the game. Therefore, the Magic had a very short bench with just three players. The entire starting lineup played at least 34 minutes, and three played at least 40.
