Warriors 116, Pelicans 106—Final

Stephen Curry set an NBA single-game record with 13 three-pointers during the Golden State Warriors' 116-106 victory Monday night over the New Orleans Pelicans.

And Golden State (5-2) needed every one of those trifectas. The Dubs held a 100-95 lead with less than four minutes in the fourth quarter before the reigning MVP drained a triple on three consecutive possessions and sealed the win.

Though Klay Thompson's outside shooting struggles continued, he tallied 24 points while converting on 9-of-13 attempts inside the arc. Kevin Durant netted 22 points, and Draymond Green added a double-double with 12 rebounds and 11 assists.

New Orleans (0-7) battled back from a 21-point deficit, but a 7-of-21 mark from long distance and 19 turnovers doomed the Pelicans. Anthony Davis paced the team with 33 points and 13 rebounds.
