Gasol Shut Down, To Undergo Testing

K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reported that Gasol will undergo an MRI and will miss games against the New Orleans Pelicans and Philadelphia 76ers.
Gasol Continues to Produce at a High Level
Gasol has been producing a solid double-double average of 16.5 points and 11 rebounds for a second consecutive season in Chicago. The 35-year-old is a uniquely skilled frontcourt player capable of taking over games on occasion even at this late juncture of his career.
After appearing in 78 games during the 2014-15 campaign, Gasol has suited up for the vast majority of contests for the Bulls this season. Despite a slight reduction in minutes, though, a faster brand of basketball has led to the occasional stint on the sidelines for the veteran.
