Houston Rockets point guard Patrick Beverley suffered an ankle injury Monday against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Beverley Ankle Injury Details Revealed Monday, Jan. 18 The Rockets announced Beverley sprained his ankle and would not return.

He failed to score a point in 16 minutes before exiting. Heading into the game, Beverley was averaging 9.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists per contest.

Beverley missed the end of the 2014-15 season after suffering a wrist injury but came back this year for his fourth season with the Rockets. He has never played in more than 56 games in a season. He averaged just 5.6 points and 2.9 assists per game during his rookie year but increased his scoring average to 10.1 points last year—while dishing out 3.4 assists per game—before suffering the wrist injury.
