Game One: Utah Jazz 78, Orlando Magic 73  

Gordon Hayward, UTA

Continued to play passive, yet efficient. Seems hesitant to make things happen, but did have a more substantial day two. Hit a clutch three down the stretch to help seal the win. My money is on him coming out of his shell today.

 

Jeremy Evans, UTA

Much improved from his first performance. More active on both ends of the court, recording six points, five boards, two blocks, and a steal. He’ll need to keep improving, but this was much better.

 

Daniel Orton, ORL

Easily the favorite for biggest disappointment of the Summer League, as his struggles continued into day two. Orton went 0-6 from the floor and had only two rebounds in 17 minutes. At least this time he wasn’t ejected.

 

Stanley Robinson, ORL

The former college standout has been nothing spectacular, playing very passively and not shooting that well when he does get the ball. Put up four points, three rebounds in 15 minutes.

 

Jerome Randle, ORL
