Orlando Magic Week 24: Reaching The End of The Regular Season

The 2009-10 NBA regular season is almost in the books and the Orlando Magic seem to be building momentum going into the postseason. The Magic have won their last four games to take them to a 57-23 record. Depending on the turnouts of this week's games, Orlando will be facing either the Charlotte Bobcats, Miami Heat, or Milwaukee Bucks. Charlotte currently sits on the seventh seed, but a combination of tough schedule and an injured Andrew Bogut might cause the Bucks to slide down the rankings. On Wednesday the Washington Wizards came to town to take on the Magic. Orlando dominated the game after the first quarter and won 121-94. Dwight Howard led the team with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocks. The Orlando bench got heavily involved in the game with JJ Redick and Mickael Pietrus scoring 16 points apiece. Nick Young took charge for the Wiz, scoring 21 points on the game. Mike Miller was solid as well, putting up 16 points, nine rebounds, and five assists. Friday night was more of the same as Orlando welcomed the New York Knicks to Amway Arena. Orlando pulled off a 118-103 win with ease.
