Orlando Magic: My Thoughts on the Recent Wheelings and Dealings

I know I'm a couple days late to share my opinion of the recent "blockbuster" deals the Orlando Magic made, but I had more important things to tend to. Most notably I was manning the sprinkle department at the family cookie decorating facility, and on my off-time I was tired and passed out.

This being said, I'm not a big fan of the deal for Orlando (I'll explain why), but I like it for Phoenix and Washington.

For Phoenix and Washington, their respective deals weren't particularly eye-popping.

Washington was going to deal Arenas, and they would have probably sent him packing for a bag of Doritos and a stick of gum. So getting a better contract in Rashard Lewis (who ever thought his contract would be better than someone elses?) wasn't necessarily anything to sneeze at.

The Suns swapped Vince Carter for Jason Richardson which is basically a wash, while also sending out Hedo Turkoglu's horrendous and seemingly "untradeable" contract (I say "untradeable" because it has been traded twice in less than a season). In return, the Suns gain a much needed big man in Marcin Gortat.
