Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant Will Be the NBA’s All-Time Scoring Leader

Kevin Durant is entering his fourth NBA season only 33 points short of 6,000 career points. 

USA teammate Andre Iguodala spoke his mind about Durant the other day: "Kevin Durant will be the NBA's all-time leading scorer when it's all said and done...He loves the game and has a knack for putting the ball in the basket."

At the tender age of 21, KD is 32,420 points behind the NBA's all-time scoring leader Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387 career points in 20 seasons).

Does Kevin Durant have the chance to break one of the leagues most prolific records?

Yes.

Will he do it?

Hmm, let's find out.

Since entering the NBA back in 2007, Durant has steadily increased his scoring average each season by roughly five points per game. 

This past season KD became the youngest player to ever win an NBA scoring title, averaging 30.1 PPG and scoring a total of 2,472 points in all 82 regular season games.

Being just 21 years old, we can expect Durant to continue to evolve (and mature, if possible) into an even better all-around NBA player.
