Oklahoma City vs. Dallas Mavericks: Mavericks Go for 7th Straight on the Road

The Oklahoma City Thunder are set to host the Dallas Mavericks in what figures to be an entertaining Western Conference showdown. The Thunder will look to end the Mavericks seven game road winning streak. Dallas has the best away record of any team at 10-1, but will have their hands full against Oklahoma City, who  have won six of their last seven at home. Dallas will be without head coach Rick Carlisle, as he recovers from minor knee surgery. Our NBA spreads for tonight's games indicate that the oddsmakers have the Thunder favored by two points over the Mavericks at home.

The Mavericks are making quite the case that they are the best team in the NBA right now. Dallas has won 16 of their last 17 games, with their only loss coming at home against Milwaukee  on Dec. 13. The Mavericks last loss on the road came on Nov.17 , as they fell 99-97 to New Orleans. This will be the Mavericks come into the game with plenty of rest, as they haven't played since beating Orlando 105-99 last Tuesday.
