Oklahoma City Thunder Favored By 5.5 Over Atlanta Hawks on New Years Eve

The Oklahoma City Thunder will look to win back-to-back games for the first time in two weeks when they host the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night.

The Thunder come in off a 114-93 win over the Nets on Wednesday, while the Hawks bring a mini two-game winning streak into play, after beating the Warriors 103-93 at home on Wednesday.

This is the first of two meetings between these two teams, and they won't see each other again till March 4.

If you are thinking about betting on the game tonight, our NBA spreads have the Thunder favored by 5.5 points over the Hawks at home.

The Hawks haven't exactly got off to the start they were hoping for this season, but they have had to deal with some injuries and it looks as though they are headed in the right direction.

Atlanta has won five of their last seven, including nine straight at home, but now must show they can win on the road. The Hawks started the season 8-3 away from home, but have since went just 1-5 in their last six.
