Oh Ricky! T’Wolves to Trade Rubio in NBA Draft?

The Minnesota Timberwolves have done an amazing job in acquiring numerous picks in the first round of the last couple drafts. Last year, they drafted Jonny Flynn and Ricky Rubio and had two other picks in the first round, which they traded. 

This year, they have multiple first round picks yet again, three to be exact. Once again, they will most likely be looking to trade one or two. Which leads me to what I think the T'Wolves will do with those picks.

Ricky Rubio disappointed Minnesota and much of the NBA league as a whole when he decided to not play in the league last year and instead continue to play for Spain. Some thought it was a good thing for his development and this was proven true since it has been reported that he has indeed improved in areas that needed it the most, such as his long ball shooting.

Minnesota was most definitely looking forward to Rubio coming to join them this year, but Rubio has once again disappointed, saying that he will remain in Spain until 2011. Is he worth all this trouble and waiting for when they could get a good amount of value out of him?
