Nik Stauskas Partners with Company to Make Signature ‘Sauce Castillo’ Hot Sauce

It's crazy to think that a closed-captioning error may have been the best thing to happen to Sacramento Kings shooting guard Nik Stauskas during his rookie season.

Last month, a closed-captioning miscue referred to Stauskas as "Sauce Castillo" during a game. Ever since then, the "Sauce Castillo" moniker has taken off.

It got to the point where the Kings even held "Sauce Castillo Night" on April 5, in which fans received a bottle of Sauce Castillo hot sauce. That giveaway was a fun idea, and now, Stauskas is taking it to the next logical step.

The former Michigan Wolverine has partnered up with Musashi Foods to create a signature Sauce Castillo hot sauce that fans will be able to buy. After sampling the Kings' Sauce Castillo hot sauce, Stauskas said it had a "big kick to it." As for this new sauce, it's "sweet, smoky and spicy" and is also "on fire," like Stauskas.
