In a typically Eastern Conference game, the Detroit Pistons (4-6) defeated the New York Knicks (3-7) in ugly fashion by a final score of 92-86.
The Pistons played slightly better than the Knicks throughout the game and balanced scoring helped them come out on top.
The game was pretty much decided by a one-man run from Rodney Stuckey at the end of the third and beginning of the fourth quarter. He scored 13 straight for Detroit and finished with 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting.
Josh Smith, Greg Monroe, Andre Drummond and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope all reached double figures as well. Monroe and Drummond finished with 11 rebounds each.
For the Knicks, Carmelo Anthony scored 25 points on 8-of-20 shooting and J.R. Smith added 18 on 7-of-15 from the field.
