New York Knicks Show They Are a Playoff Team Without Carmelo, Beat the Heat

The Knicks just proved Donnie Walsh's stand on not wanting to break up his entire team for one superstar. They played great, as a team, and took down the infamous Heat. 

After starting off the game utterly terrible from beyond the arc, two clutch three pointers in the end of the game really solidified the victory tonight. 

Great play from Amare Stoudemire (24 points), Danilo Gallinari (20) and Landry Fields (19) led the Knicks, as well as great play off the bench from Shawn William's 11 points and surprisingly great defense on LeBron. 

They showed that they could enter the playoffs as a six seed and potentially shake things up a bit and hopefully get by with an upset in the short series. 

Aside from Dwyane Wade (34 points), who seemed to be scoring at will, the Knicks did a great job at containing defense. The only problem was that the Knicks couldn't seem to find a basket early on in the game; usually the opposite story for them.
