New York Knicks Are Proving They’re Made for Playoff Basketball

When the New York Knicks front office added a ton of veterans back in the 2012 offseason, they were clearly thinking ahead to the NBA playoffs.

After being dismissed as an old, decrepit team earlier in the season, the Knicks are now proving Glen Grunwald right, showing everyone that they're made for playoff basketball.

Since their first round against the Boston Celtics, the Knicks have come out all guns blazing, taking a 3-0 lead into Game 4 on Sunday afternoon.

The Celtics are a team that many thought would give the Knicks problems. The general consensus was that this would be a six or seven game series, but New York is on the verge of sweeping the team that did the same to them in 2011.

New York's performance against Boston has been truly dominant. The Celtics have yet to reach the 80-point mark in a game, and the Knicks' offense has been able to perform when they need it most.

To have such dominant success against a team like the C's, the Knicks have needed playoff-veterans, and that's exactly what they have.
