LeBron James had 32 points, Dwyane Wade added 22 and the Miami Heat ran away from the New Orleans Pelicans in the second half for a 107-88 victory on Tuesday night.

This game was close until James took over in the third quarter.

The Pelicans actually held a 49-43 lead at halftime, but LeBron scored 16 in the third, putting his imprint on the game and helping the Heat outscore New Orleans 32-21 in the period.

Miami continued its dominance in the fourth, outscoring the Pelicans 32-18. This time, though, it was Chris Andersen doing most of the work, as the reserve big man poured in 11 of his 15 points over the final 12 minutes.

The Heat shot 51 percent as a team.

Anthony Davis registered 22 points, 12 rebounds, three steals and two blocks, but just about all of that came in a monstrous first half. Over the last two quarters, Davis had only six points and two boards as Miami locked down defensively and did a fine job of controlling the glass.

The Pelicans had five offensive rebounds in the first period, but only seven the rest of the way.
